How much does translation cost?
We price our translations based on the services you require, whether you’re looking for a bespoke package for a large project or a quick turnaround on a single document.
Like many UK-based translation agencies, we calculate our rates based on per thousand words, rather than per word. However, for large projects, we tailor packages based on volume, which can reduce your costs significantly.
The price of our translation services also depends on the languages required. We organise languages according to a band system, with many of the major European languages in band 1, including French, Italian, German, and Spanish (known as FIGS). More complex languages, such as Japanese and Arabic, are placed in band 6 and have higher related costs.
While all of our translations are of a high quality, we understand that businesses need the best quality translation service possible. This is why we introduced our Business Critical Translations service—the first in the UK to be awarded the British Standard for translation quality. We also offer budget translations, which we recommend for everyday business applications.
